In a bowl, combine the cleaned raw shrimp, crushed garlic, oyster sauce, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and hot sauce. Mix thoroughly to coat the shrimp. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour to allow the flavors to penetrate.

Lightly flour your work surface. Unroll the crescent roll dough and press the perforations together. Cut the dough in half and roll each half into a rectangle about 1/8-inch thick (roughly 5x9 inches). Use a pizza cutter to divide each rectangle into six long strips for a total of 12 strips.

Place one marinated shrimp at the end of a dough strip, along with a bit of the extra garlic marinade. Fold one end of the dough over the shrimp to trap the filling, then wrap the remaining dough around it. Ensure the seam ends up on the bottom and place on a silicone or parchment-lined baking sheet.

Brush the tops of the wrapped shrimp with a beaten egg wash (or milk/water if preferred). Sprinkle generously with sesame seeds for color and flavor.

Bake in the center of a preheated 400°F (200°C) oven for about 20 minutes, or until the pastry is beautifully browned and crispy. Serve hot, warm, or at room temperature, ideally with a side of mustard-mayonnaise dipping sauce.
