Allergens
We do our best to flag common allergens in ingredient lists, but we cannot guarantee that every cross-contamination risk has been captured. Always read full ingredient labels yourself and adapt recipes for the allergies and intolerances in your household.
Food safety
Use clean tools and surfaces, store ingredients at safe temperatures, and cook meat, poultry, seafood, and eggs to safe internal temperatures recommended by your local food-safety authority (for example, the USDA in the United States or the FSA in the United Kingdom). When in doubt, throw it out.
Nutrition information
Where nutrition figures appear, they are computed from typical ingredient averages and rounded for readability. They are estimates, not laboratory measurements. Actual values vary with brand, batch, ripeness, and preparation. Do not rely on them for medical decisions.
Substitutions & adaptation
Recipes often invite swaps — different cheeses, different cuts of meat, gluten-free flours, plant-based dairy. Substitutions are at your own risk; results and safety may diverge from the published recipe.
